At Parfumella Foundation, we believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a better future for generations to come.
We were founded by Albert Tranquilino, founder of Parfumella Flowers in Tarlac Pampanga and Darcey Flowers in Dubai, and his wife, Amy Tranquilino, who set up the organization because they wanted to help underprivileged children in the Philippines. They saw firsthand how people couldn’t study due to a lack of opportunity and resources and wanted to do something about it.
Our mission is simple: to help underprivileged children in the region and beyond get the chance to go to school, stay in school, and make something of themselves. We want to give every child the opportunity to succeed. Our program aims to provide access to quality education and opportunities enabling a brighter future for our beneficiaries.
We know that education is the key to success, so we stress the value of education to children and families and act as facilitators in ensuring that every child attends school. Our scholarship program gives children access to holistic learning experiences through exposure to art, dance, sports, and other activities so they can develop their talents and maximize their potential. We aspire to instill confidence in our beneficiaries so they can take advantage of all opportunities available when they grow up!
Our goal is to become a driving force in providing access to education for all children who need it most in the Philippines.
There are too many deserving students who can’t study or fall through the cracks because they don’t have the means or support network needed to make it happen – that’s why we’re here!

Albert Bengco Tranquilino
Founder
Albert was born into a family with little means but has always aimed big and pursued his dreams. He started his career as a young 12-year-old, helping to make ends meet as a helper in a funeral and flower shop. His early experience in life taught him the importance of helping others while also learning to work hard. Albert Tranquilino is now a visionary leader who has worked for over 20 years to advance the floristry industry in the UAE and the Philippines. He is an award-winning entrepreneur and a teacher by education and was chosen as one of the 300 Most Influential Filipinos in the Gulf in 2020.
Amy Cayabyab - Tranquilino
Co-Founder
Amy Cayabyab-Tranquilino is the CEO of Parfumella Flowers and Parfumella Trading. She is also a mother of 3 and a teacher by profession. She grew up in a farming community, where she learned the value of money and how to care for things. This mindset has benefitted her as an entrepreneur: she wants to help others to have a better life. Her farmer parents raised her and persevered so that she could finish her education. She wanted to pay back for all the goodness she received in life by helping others achieve their goals. That’s why she, along with her husband Albert, started Parfumella Foundation – to help as many children as possible finish their university studies to be better decision-makers.
Amy believes that the actions would create a domino effect and that the children they have helped would also want to help others.
Together, Albert and Amy are committed to creating opportunities for children and young adults in underprivileged communities in the Philippines so they can have access to education and a chance for a better life. They believe that we all have the same rights, but not everyone has the same privileges, and that many deserving children are unable to study due to a lack of financial resources. Through the Parfumella Foundation, Albert and Amy aim to make a difference by transforming lives and spreading happiness to the less fortunate.
